Airport transfers
The city of Rio de Janeiro has two airports:
Santos Dumont (SDU) – airport that receives only domestic flights and is located Downtown Rio. The approximate distance from Santos Dumont to the conference venue is about 24km.

Galeão (GIG) – Rio’s main airport is the Antonio Carlos Jobim International Airport, better known as Galeão and is located in Ilha do Governador, in the northern part of the city of Rio. Galeão receives all International flights and also receives national flights from all over the country. The approximate distance from Galeão to the conference venue is approximately 27km.

1 – Yellow Cab
Amount is charged according to the taximeter. Taxi drivers will probably not be able to speak English. In case of using this service, we recommend using the official Yellow Cab company at the airport.
2 – Special Taxi
Special Taxi vouchers can be purchased at the arriving hall outside customs. Payment with credit card is accepted and hostesses are bilingual. In some companies the driver can also charge directly to the passenger. 3 – Private Transfer
You can request a private service. A professional driver will be waiting for you at the arrival gate, after you have passed the customs at the restricted area. Driver will be holding a sign with your name on it and will take you to your hotel. Service must be requested with minimum 72 hours in advance, in order to be provided by Creacteve. UBER
Uber is another great option of transportation with very affordable prices.
