Camera ready guidelines
Camera-ready upload, copyright form, and author registration must be completed by: October 30, 2025.
Papers are reviewed on the basis that they do not contain plagiarized material and have not been submitted to any other conference at the same time (double submission). These matters are taken very seriously and the IEEE Communications Society will take action against any author who has been engaged in either practice. Please see the IEEE Web Page on Plagiarism and the IEEE Web Page on Double Submission.
Format the final version of your paper
Please read the reviews and follow the reviewers’ recommendations for revising your final paper. To guarantee good quality proceedings contents, your paper must comply with the Wireless Days Conference 2025 paper specifications.
- The MS Word template can be obtained here.
- Latex templates can be obtained here.
- Bibliography files can be obtained here.
- When working in Overleaf, the template is available here (use the IEEE Conference Template).
In particular, this means:
- Paper length is limited to 9 pages for full papers (oral presentation) and 5 pages for short papers, both including title, abstract, all figures, tables, and references.
- Use two-columns IEEE Conference Proceedings style in a 10-point-font, US letter page.
Latex users must follow the IEEE-conference-template-062824.tex example included in the Latex template. You must also use the following command \documentclass[10pt,conference]{IEEEtran}. Moreover, use IEEEtran.bst included in the Bibliography file as reference style.
(Note: With IEEE conferences, the author’s affiliation is listed under the author’s name, unlike IEEE transactions.)
- PDF format only is accepted
- Do NOT use page numbers, headers, or footers on your manuscript
- Do NOT apply security settings to your PDF file
- Do NOT include hyperlinks in the document (e.g., clickable web site addresses in the references)
Generate Xplore-compatible PDF format paper
IEEE is very strict about the requirements for converting application files or PostScript files to full-text PDF for inclusion in IEEE Xplore. IEEE Xplore Requirements for PDF will be enforced. All conference articles submitted for inclusion in IEEE Xplore must be in Xplore-compatible PDF format. To verify/obtain your camera-ready Xplore-compatible paper, follow the instructions below:
- Access the IEEE PDF eXpress site (https://ieee-pdf-express.org/)
- First-time users of PDF eXpress should create an IEEE PDF eXpress account (use 67713X for the Conference ID)
- Previous users of PDF eXpress need to log in to the site using 67713X for the Conference ID and the same email and password that were used for previous conferences. Verify that your contact information is valid.
After executing all steps, you will obtain an Xplore-compatible PDF that must be submitted on EDAS. Do NOT use ‘Approve for collection’ in PDF eXpress.
Submit PDF on EDAS
Submit your Xplore-compatible PDF on EDAS by selecting the “My Papers” tab, then selecting the paper title, and finally clicking on the button corresponding to the “Final manuscript” field.
IEEE e-copyright form
Authors of accepted papers must complete the IEEE eCopyright Form. One copyright form is required for each accepted paper. The electronic copyright form can be accessed via EDAS by selecting the “My Papers” tab, then selecting the paper title, and finally clicking on the button “©”. In the next page, click on the button “IEEE copyright submission” to visit the IEEE web site that allows you to submit your copyright form electronically. Make sure that the title/author list is exactly as in your final camera-ready paper.
Registration number
Authors of accepted papers must register at the conference to complete the submission process of the camera-ready version. After completing the registration, please insert the “Confirmation number” of your Receipt/Invoice in the “Registration” field on EDAS. The 11-digit confirmation number is in the top right corner of your registration receipt/invoice. The registration field can be accessed via EDAS by selecting the “My Papers” tab, then selecting the paper title, and finally clicking on the “Registration” field to insert the confirmation number. Each author registration allows the publication of up to two papers.
